Rioja is known primarily for its red wines, although it also makes lovely whites from the Viura grape, with Malvasia, Chardonnay and a few other local white varieties contributing to blends. Most bodegas have their own distinct red-wine formula, albeit typically Tempranillo-predominant ,but with Graciano and Garnacha becoming increasingly important in blends in recent times. Rioja has witnessed a broad stylistic evolution over the years, from the long, oak-barrel-ageing of the 19th century to the current vogue for wines made in a cleaner, fresher style and increasingly from vineyard specific plots rather than broad regional blends.
I have enjoyed these wines very much - in particular I liked the Belle Vignes which was rich and very flavoursome
The Cabra Cega was a particularly easy drinking quaffing wine.
Still have another 2 bottles left to sample

Great
Great selection, great taste, great value, fast delivery
Quality is consistent. Deeper bouquet and flavor than most Cali Zins. The Earth tones come thru beautifully about two years from Vintage. Wonderful
Red to contemplate on its own or with good food.
